Thank you & moving online

We’d like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to all our loyal supporters, you’ve helped us support and promote the exceptional arts of Asia. We’ve decided to close our shop in Repulse Bay and move some of our products online.

For the past 20 years, we have promoted small, unique and usually family-run businesses around Asia. This year has been sad for many of our suppliers: our celadon potter passed away and our lacquer designer has retired due to illness. Happily, our soapstone sculptor is now famous in Vietnam, sculpting in bronze — he was commissioned to sculpt the big bronze horse & warrior in the centre of Hanoi! This is great news, but sadly he no longer has  time to craft the exquisite chess sets and boxes for us.

We are going to expand and develop this website – you can now place orders for our exclusive, hand-etched fine crystal glasses, woven mats, boxes, breadbaskets, trays and more.

Thank you again for all your support over the years. You have been instrumental in helping many successful small businesses, please consider yourselves founding patrons of:

  • Bookworks
  • Suzhou Cobbler
  • Bez & Oho
  • Van artists
  • Seniwati Women’s Gallery
  • Bali Artworks
  • Ceram Celadon
  • Living Space
  • Sop Moei
  • Percy Vatsaloo  and many more.

Also, if you have any of our baskets or collectables these are fetching huge prices now compared to what you paid, most are irreplaceable. Please consider gifting them to a museum, like the Chinese University Museum of Art, as they would really appreciate them.

We hope you will keep in touch.

Vicki , Guy & Divine
